I love working directly with a client to give them a one of a kind piece of their beloved pet or their favorite animal! It is my goal to not only create a true likeness but to bring out the very soul and character of the animal. Working from your favorite photos, portraits are created using the highest quality, professional grade colored pencils on the market. These pencils are "lightfast" meaning they are resistant to fading. If the artwork is properly mounted and framed with acid free materials and kept out of direct sunlight, your piece will last lifetimes!
You may pay the total price of your product by ordering directly online. If you wish to pay in installments a 40% deposit is required to book. Please email me directly here,happy to accomodate
Sizes and Prices
Prices include your portrait. Shipping is calculated and added to the final weight of the packaged product. Listed prices are for single subjects with either a white or simple tonal background. When choosing your preferred size, please note that the listed sizes are paper size, and will increase by 1"-3" when mounted, plus the width of the frame which vary greatly. For example, an 8x10" can frame up to a 12x14".
Photo References
In order to get the most realistic, vibrant portrait that's full of life and character, your photos need to be clear, in focus and showing your pet's "best side". Its especially important that I can see their eyes clearly, as the colors and expression are the "eyes to the soul" which are what makes an individual unique. If you're not sure if yours are suitable, just ask and I'll be happy to advise. If you supply photographs you didn't take yourself, please ensure you have written permission from the photographer for me to use.
Delivery
Please note there is sometimes a wait list. If you have a specific date you need it by, like a birthday, anniversary or holiday I'll do my best to accommodate your request. Something to keep in mind: Each piece takes anywhere from 30 hours of drawing time for a smaller piece and up to 70 hours for large or multiple subjects. So anywhere from 3-6 weeks is spent on a single piece. So please plan accordingly.
Once deposit or payment is made, I will keep you up to date on start time and estimated completed time. I will also keep you up-to-date with regular work in progress photos via social media or email if you need to keep it a secret. All pieces are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with insurance covering up to $50.
How to Order
Very simply, email your photos directly to my email courtney.r.gettemy@gmail.com, pay your deposit or pay in full. I'll confirm your slot and portrait as agreed. I'll keep you posted every step of the way and ship it to you only when you are 100% satisfied! Its that simple!
